Learn the fundamentals of digital accessibility and how you can integrate these introductory concepts into your daily practice. We strongly recommend taking this course before other trainings and workshops to get a foundational understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

In this workshop, you’ll learn how UDL and digital accessibility go together to create equitable learning experiences for all.

Through examples and activities, learn web accessibility guidelines, the essential components of an accessible website, key do’s and don’ts of web design, and proactive strategies for accessible website development and maintenance. By the end of the session, attendees will gain the knowledge and resources to address common accessibility barriers in website development.
This workshop will demonstrate how to manually and automatically test a webpage built on WordPress’s Full Site Editor. You will learn how to measure WCAG 2.2 AA conformance and interpret test results to determine your next steps towards website compliance. Participants are encouraged to bring their webpages or assessments for practice and personalized guidance.
Are you a Mac OS and/or iOS user looking to learn more about accessibility testing? In this workshop we’ll work together on a test case and troubleshoot common accessibility problems using a range of tools available for Mac OS and iOS.

By the end of the training, you will have the knowledge and tools to create inclusive and user-friendly documents and presentations.
Learn PDF accessibility requirements and methods using Adobe Acrobat. This training will equip you with the knowledge, tools, and processes to create and remediate PDFs for accessibility.
NOTE: We highly recommend taking Document Remediation Part 1 – Word and PowerPoint before taking this course. Some core topics covered in Part 1 will not be repeated.
